I thought it seemed like a pretty straightforward way to learn more about photography and so far it's definitely working.
Themes so far:
Week 1 - Accomodation
This was perfect timing for me, having just completed a maternity shoot with Penny, Dave and the soon to be Beau:
Week 2 - New
A trip to see the in laws left me panicking as to whether we'd be able to race back up the M56 in time to get a picture for this theme, but then my ever resourceful future Father in Law produced his new dictionary:
Week 3 - Style
My first attempt at light trails, and of course Kate leapt at the chance to justify buying herself yet another pair of Carvela shoes:
Week 4 - Open
My trip to the underground tunnels of Manchester provided the ideal opportunity for this theme. The can, opened with the old school ring pull, has also been left open to the elements since around 1983.
Week 5 - Hard
Once the playground giggles had subsided, I was planning on spelling the word 'hard' in nails, but on one of our regular countryside adventures with the kids, I spotted this:
Week 6 - Clutter
There's always plenty of clutter around our place, but none I was comfortable publishing a photo of, so instead I opted for our usually tidy (to the point of OCD) condiments cupboard:

Izzy is by far the most delicate person I know:
